| JCM will show its new UBA bill validator at the ATEI / ICE show in London. Building on its world bill acceptor, the UBA bill validator combines improved bill-sensing technology with lightweight and durable plastic construction. This one unit can accept all of the world’s currency up to 85mm in width without any hardware changes and can hold up to 500 notes. The UBA is designed to accept multiple Countries’ currencies in one version of software. The UBA comes complete with latest sensing technology, utilizing magnetic and optical sensors. Infrared, red and green LEDs, phototransistors, UV, reflective, transparency and bar code sensors comprise the UBA’s optical sensing package. The UBA is secure, with a patented anti-pullback roller device that prevents ‘stringing.’ The UBA has an automatic centering mechanism that centers notes in the bill path regardless of how the bill was inserted, increasing acceptance and eliminating the need for additional bill guides. There is also viewing window that allows the last bill stacked to be seen without having to open the cash box. An automatic retry feature will re-scan a bill up to three times before rejecting, increasing acceptance rates. The UBA incorporates onboard memory within the cash box that independently records all completed transactions. Last, a USB download port in the front of the unit allows for quick and easy program downloads without having to remove the unit from the game. |
