The vending industry has just seen one of its big events, namely the DA Vending Expo in Paris. The exhibition opened from 25th to 28th of October and was very successful for Japan Cash Machine, which presented its DBV-300 with Recycling Unit RC-10 and its newest bill acceptor Taiko to the public. Taiko uses a revolutionary drum technology, which rolls-up the banknotes and scans them at the same time - fishing is hardly possible at all. The software is programmed to work with diverse protocol types; the user can chose between serial, pulse, MDB or cctalk. Together with its compact design, the Taiko is suitable for a wide range of vending applications. “Actually, there are some customers who use the Taiko for DVD vending machines. They are very satisfied by its good performance” states Industrial Applications Sales Manager Andreas Hildebrandt on the exhibition, “the presentation of the DBV-300 Series was again very successful”.
The DA Vending Expo served also a lot to make new contacts with the French vending market, which shows a clear tendency of growth. There are more and more vending applications for high value products like photo printing, books or car wash services. These applications are classical bill validator users and thus showed a high interest in the products presented by JCM. “We are very satisfied by the results of the exhibition and are looking forward to the next vending events, for example AVEX 2007 in London. We will present our product range to a wide public again” said Mr. Hildebrandt.
